Good Morning Hive Family, another great day incoming because this is how I roll. I speak my world into existence and I bring in all that is good into light. I present you with my nineteenth hike and it was technically an extension of yesterdays hike post. For we did not make it to the Big Laguna Lake but hiked a grueling seven mile snow and Ice hike that day on the 5th of January. So my Nephew along with my Niece wanted to attempt it again, so I decided to go at a closer location and hike to it. Now this Hike ended up being in total 5.5 miles and wasn't so bad at all, most of the snow and Ice were melted but some still within my shot's. They trail that we were on was Big Laguna trail and was not that far from where we had parked, so we were able to walk all around the entire small lake and do a little off gird exploring. As well the best part we at our lunch on the best rock to just sit there, soak up the most important thing in life, The Sun and bring all that is good into our bodies and mind for over an hour. This by far has been one of the best times out on a hike, I kinda am getting over just doing a hike, in and out. The time is now to sit and enjoy yourself in God's Country.
A little history of Big Lake Laguna is their is not to much to find, haha but I did see a sign on the trail that said this lake was man made and used to be owned by someone with cattle but yea obviously more stolen land and overreaching by the Government, good or bad I guess you be the judge, the good thing is Mt. Laguna isn't heavily populated for the disease of humans destroying land and tree's etc because let me tell you when this snow came in we went the next day and witness the worse in human nature and all at the end trash was everywhere from all of them. Nothing worse then a dirty human destroying nature but let me get off this rant. haha, this place is beautiful and the Government still allows some owners of cattle to come up here and help out the nature. Only certain times of the season though, so not this time but we did see more Hawks and Eagle's this time and probably the most I've seen out on a hike. All in all I really enjoyed myself and so did the kid's, also they do have a smaller lake but we did not go to it this time.
Anyways sit back and enjoy some of my shot's around this winter wonderland and I for sure will have to do all these over again to witness more green life, flower's etc in the Summer time. Here I present the shot I chose to be as my cover photo, enjoy all these shot's and thank you for taking the time out your day or night to check out my blog, God Bless.
The start of the hike even thought behind us was a closed camping site we had to walk about a half mile to get to this point but the lake from here wasn't to far away.
A good sign your on the right path is always welcome out here and this was one of those moments, you really have no idea when Hiking, you just have to explore and it will always be a hit or miss moment.
At last the lake, Big Lake Laguna and honestly it doesn't really seem that big, I am sure back in the day it was a bit bigger but times do change. Enjoy some shot's around the lake.
Come out here and you can witness the Chem Trails a lot for sure, I have a few shot's of them in the background.
Has to be one of the coolest tree's I've seen, among many others but this one decided to be twins later in life, haha. Doesn't look like it is doing to well though, so I will be curious of it the next time I'm back here.
After wrapping around the lake, here is the middle view facing north.
This tree or branch growing is hilarious to me but I suppose that's how nature starts.
Last shot, from where we started this journey and I hope you all enjoyed this post in Mt. Laguna, I probably wont be back here til summer time when all is grown back, green and flower's etc.
I am not a professional writer nor photographer, I just want to do my best and show my hike and travel journeys with the community and I do appreciate each and everyone of you.
Thank you for taking the time and checking out my post and following me on this journey. Always Blessed to be here and I want to continue creating the best content I can, sharing my thoughts and sights of pictures in my way. So many more to come and I hope you continue enjoying my hikes, posts and pictures. Until the next post, Thank you all, God Bless....
