So... in Melbourne, the hottest part of the day was definitely just after midday. As a dude who is incredibly rad at going incredible red, I'd pretty much hide in the shade between 11am and 3pm, and 4-5pm was always amazing. You could feel Melbourne cool down and a walk after work would be so incredibly pleasant... except on those 46 degree days, then I'm just never going outside ever.
In Portland, the hottest part of the day is around 5pm-6pm. It's 6pm and 16 degrees, at lunchtime it was 9 degrees and at 10am it was 3 degrees. I normally run at 10am, but I figured that if I could hold out, I could run in a t-shirt for the first time in 2019 and it would be glorious.
I did and it was.
I'm not sure I've even fully recovered yet, but now I've got to go out and smash some hill sprints before it gets to dark and my partner runs me over on the driveway. Never trust a girl who only has wine-time on her mind.

Awesome dude! Now this is a great comment.0.021 SBD | 1 | # |
Haha fantastic! I am enjoying the cooler weather here, but in the back of my mind, I know summer is fast approaching, and everything will be on fire and I will be back in the hellscape! But I am hitting it hard now while I can! I haven't been running, but I have been doing construction work, and man, it KILLS! Love your fitness updates! :)0.023 SBD | 1 | 1 |
Haha, construction is way way way way way harder than running. Running is for like 20 minutes... construction is until the job is done, or your arms drop off... whichever happens first.
What are you building? Is it a Steempunk blimp?0.000 SBD | 0 | # |
You’ll never need a jacket again like I decided I would never need sleep again when I was completely delirious a million years ago? 🤣 yay for glorious runs!

Lol. Did you get sunburnt just for good measure?0.026 SBD | 3 | 1 |
Ha! I totally forgot that sunburn was a thing that even existed.
I did not... but for some reason Portland is particularly burny. Jerk.
