Well, there's no better time to get back into the swim of things, and I can't believe that its been a month since my last track session.
We've been doing a lot of training, but due to Summer holidays, and taking a little more relaxed approach to Thursday training, our track session is something we have not been worrying about too much. Even though it is more focused on skills and power development, it is still a bit of tough session to have after a touch few days training prior.
This week we got back into things and could feel the difference a few weeks off has made. It wasn't too difficult but the first 400m repeat we did felt pretty tough. Its great to be running these track sessions again as it give a good break from the usual training during the week.
