You may have remembered me mention that the winter in Auckland had been better than expected, so it has not really come as a surprise that the past week has been a bit raining. I really can't complain but it seems the sound of rain seems to get me down. Fortunately though I was able to get out for a run at lunch time. It seemed the clouds were going to clear for at least a few minutes to get out of the office and it did. I was able to run with a friend from work and do our usual 8km loop from the office.
Today's run was a mod orate pace run. I know I shouldn't really be running at these kind of paces as it doesn't really change the body but, I like to get out and do this as it gets me ready for more work later in the day.
Fortunately, the rain held off and it was a nice run.
