This is the 2nd half of the back-to-back yoga practices I did yesterday. Hard to talk it up into something huge -- it was only an additional 20 minutes. I was joined by @caitycat and the pups for this session, as you can see in the image. It's not always sunshine and rainbows trying to stretch with dogs in the room, and today, they were definitely a little bit more excited and high energy than usual. There was a point where we were doing a breathing exercise in tandem with some core work, and it must have looked a bit funny, because both dogs let out a concerned whimper and came over to double check we weren't hurting ourselves.
This yoga session is hands free and low to the ground. This special practice invites you to return to your reason for intentionally going on this journey... and then take it one step further. Dedicate today's session to someone or something outside of yourself. Connect the dots. Find What Feels Good.
Per the description in the YouTube video, this was a gentle practice. An opportunity to remember why I started this in the first place. For me, I'd say my main drive was just wanting to reconnect with my body , and check in with my different aches / pains / sore points -- so I can best train around / with them moving forwards. Take stock!
