I was having some issues uploading this ride on the updated @exhaust site, but after a chat with developer @mstafford on Discord the error is fixed.

It is another hot day in the UK, but my speed was hampered more by a headwind for most of the way. Due to this I was not expecting a new personal record for the route and I right. I was also slowed down a little when something stung the back of my thigh about a third of the way in. I did not see what it was, but it is still sore. I had a brief stop to look at it, but did not have anything to put on it with me.

The rest of the ride was uneventful. I saw a few rabbits and various birds as usual. Lots of magpies around. Earlier this week I saw a young one when I was walking home and it let me get very close. Also on my ride I had to work around a man who was walking six small dogs with some of them running free. I have had a few dogs run in front of the bike and so am wary of accidents.

There were a few other cyclists out, including a group of about six who conveniently activated a crossing over a busy road just as I got there. I soon left them behind.

I am contemplating parkrun tomorrow. Just have to get up in time.
