Sunday afternoon has been my second tempo run for the week. I have been doing a shorter run on Wednesday's and a 10km on Sunday. Both sessions are on tired legs so I haven't been expecting too much from them but I have been making good progress on both training sessions. This week I didn't get a lot of sleep over night, so I didn't expect much, so to get under 45 minutes, I am pretty happy.
The goal is to get my times down so I can get an indication of how I will be able to run during the run leg of a triathlon and the later stages of a marathon, so getting pretty excited about where I am, even though there will be the eventual plateau.
