My run for today though, is only 2 weeks until my Ironman. I am starting to pull my training back a little but Saturday is still a bigger day than most other training days of the week. After 2 hours and 30 minutes spinning on the exercise bike, it was time to once again practice transitions from riding to running with another run off the bike.
I have been working hard to make it to Ironman for close to four months now and it is good to be getting off a spin bike and running comfortably at almost 5km pace for 7km. I am not sure how this is going to translate into a marathon run on the day, but it at least gives me the confidence that I am making progress with my training with only a couple of weeks to go.
