Hello Dears! Yesterday afternoon I cycled to reach Albiano Magra, choosing a flatter than usual route but increasing the distance. I collected a total of 76 kilometers with a slight climb in the middle, a way that allows you to get to La Spezia passing by Buonviaggio.
I decided to stop in Albiano Magra because a short time ago, just during the COVID emergency that led to the blocking of activities and movements here in Italy, the bridge that connected the town with Santo Stefano Magra and the Via Aurelia crumpled up, collapsing in the basin of the Magra River. Fortunately, there were no victims, although not all the transport means managed to get out of it unscathed. I took a picture of a banner hanging in front of the bridge, waiting to be rebuilt for now. T-shirts were even created in favor of the location, in order to raise awareness among the authorities to bring about the restoration of viability as soon as possible.
Today a special greeting goes to the inhabitants of this place, as well as to all of you.
To the next Ride, dears!
