I'd like to say 18,000 steps before breakfast, but it should be more 18,000 steps before 9am(Or possibly second breakfast).
Ironman training is well under way, with less than 8 weeks to go, sh$t is really starting to get real. My Wednesday morning run into work is my long run for the week and trying my best to make it a little more difficult, I am running with a backpack and leg weights. This is the second time I have done this run, the first time, it was a little hotter, but at the same time, I also ran a little too fast at the start of the run. Today, I made sure I paced it and still walked some of the hill climbs. Although my time was not too much faster, it felt better at the end of the day and hopefully this should continue over the next few weeks coming up to March.
A little annoyed though as Strava has been dropping some of my runs. Just like today where the last 2km was not included on the run. Although this isn't a big issue, from the images above you can see that kilometer 15 was my fasted split for the morning. Anyway, another run complete and its time to get back to my work.
