Sunday morning before 8 am. I intended to have an easy run in the forest with some uphill sections. I changed my mind in the last second and put on the flat running shoes. I went for a 10 K run in a day pace tempo since I wanted to be back relatively soon. It was a very busy day and wanted to make the best out of the time for the run.
This run was a special one for several reasons.
It was the first run in the daylight since Trail Rašica on November 24th. Yes, the first not-night-run after 15 days. The joys of winter...
It was also the first longer than 10 K run after a week.
Not to mention sub 5:30min/km pace, two photo stops included.
The Cover image shows that the sun was trying to break through the morning mist. I manage to do just that on several occasions today. Another reason to celebrate the day.
The second image illustrates the flattest part of the run this morning. This stretch is long several kilometers. Ideal for a relatively quick run.
