I am still on a bit of a high from our gig at Balstock last night, but I have not collected the photos and video from that yet. A post will appear at some poiint. I was up reasonably early (for a Sunday) to do my usual run. I decided to try somewhere different and headed north. I crossed the railway at the station and went up past Chamney's health spa at Henlow. I was not too sure where I was going. I wanted to see if there was somewhere I could get back across the tracks up there. I followed a farm track that eventually came out on a large area of concrete. I assume there used to be a barn there, but now there is just flytipped rubbish. I did find a gate to access the railway, but it seems to be for official use only as it was locked. I tried following an access road parallel to the tracks, but it ended in some big gates to a sewerage works and no other paths branching off. So I had to go back the way I came. I added some variety by going around the Henlow fishing lakes. There were lots of anglers who had obviously camped out all night. They had good weather for it. It is not getting too cold at night and it is lovely when the sun comes out.
I had intended to a shorter run as I have things to do, but it came out at almost exactly 10km. Not especially quick, but I have done a fair bit of exercise over the last couple of days. In the run-up to my 10km race in three weeks I will do less in the week before to try and save my legs.

I need to get ready to head off to Cambridge soon. I am meeting @molometer there and I hope some other Steemians can make it.
