Humid Auckland Run, by

I know I shouldn't complain about the humid weather, especially when it is Auckland and not somewhere in Asia or Central America, but for someone like me I am used to the drier weather of Melbourne. The past few weeks have been pretty mild and running during the middle of the day has left me sweating a little and the reason for the photo. Today was an 8km run at lunch time with a work colleague. Although the pace was not too fast, it did get us into the lactic threshold pace and was a good work out before I take on a 5km race this weekend. The goal was an 8km run through the neighborhood and back to work. One major issue was my watch,(Amzfit Stratos 2) it has been pretty awesome but the recent update received may have played with the sensitivity of the heart rate monitor as I was running at a heart rate of 215 for the final kilometer. I have seen this before when the battery is a little low, so I hope this is the issue this time as well. Here are all the details in strava:

This photo is amazing!

I made it myself

No need to be a masochist to run well... but a bit of pain could make you stronger. ;) @amico
